Agri Meet Foundation (AMF) adopts the Saturation Approach, a comprehensive strategy aimed at achieving total coverage of a village or targeted rural population through a range of developmental interventions. These interventions encompass Natural Resource Management (NRM), Skill Development, Institutional Development, Developmental Studies, Health & Sanitation, Education, Social Entrepreneurship, and Market Access & Linkage. The Saturation Approach signifies a commitment to ensuring that every household, with the support of these interventions, is able to overcome poverty and deprivation, ultimately leading a socially and economically dignified life. In essence, AMF strives to saturate its targeted area with developmental activities, covering the entire population under its various interventions, tailored to meet the specific needs and requirements of the community. At the heart of AMF's approach is the community, around which all plans and programs are carefully designed. The foundation's interventions are geared towards supporting the earnings of each family in multiple ways, while also improving access to essential services such as education, health, and sanitation. To achieve this, AMF divides its interventions into farm-based and non-farm-based activities, depending on the resources, capacities, and potential available within the targeted communities. Farm-based activities are promoted among those with land and water resources, who earn their livelihoods through agriculture, livestock, and other similar Income Generating Activities (IGAs). In contrast, non-farm-based activities are more suited to communities with limited natural resources, where IGAs in the secondary and tertiary sectors are more viable. Non-farm-based activities leverage the human resource and skill sets available within the community, or identify potential talent that can be developed. These interventions require a careful assessment of the community's needs, preferences, and capabilities. The nature of interventions also depends on age groups, social practices, and commercial activities prevalent in the locality. Human Resource Development is a key aspect of non-farm-based activities, where AMF targets individuals willing to undergo skill training and migrate to various workplaces within or outside their state. By identifying suitable skill sets and providing training to the excess village population, AMF enables them to transition from agricultural activities to organized trades and services, thereby enhancing their economic prospects. Through its Saturation Approach, AMF aims to create a transformative impact on the lives of rural communities, empowering them to break free from poverty and deprivation. By adopting a holistic and inclusive approach, the foundation seeks to ensure that every individual and household has access to the resources, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive in a socially and economically dignified manner.
